New Year - Same Eye Makeup

Happy 2011 everyone. I hope this year finds you well and beautiful. I will continue using my same eye makeup that I have established back when I was 13 years old. I believe it to be the best mascara out there - the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. I swear by it through my entire makeup life.

Pink and Green

great lash

The kind of mascara I have bought and used for the last SIXTEEN years is the Pink and Green tube from Maybelline. It's called Great Lash Mascara and I usually buy Very Black since I don't like how dark the Blackest Black turns out. I tried the Brown one once and didn't like how light it looked with my lashes. I need some kind of a bold statement but not too much.

My lashes always have to be perfect. They have to be in evenly spaced out clumps or lines of lashes. I have always had to do this, ever since 8th grade! I never learned how to put on mascara the normal way so this is the way I do it. I will show a photo of them as soon as I can snap a decent one.

People usually ask me if they are fake lashes because they look so perfect. But they are my real lashes. I have never actually worn any fake lashes in my life. I would like to but I don't know how to put them on. Plus are they only a one-time wear? Or can you multi-use them? And it seems weird that you temporarily glue them on. That just seems wrong to me. Like how would you get them off at the end of the night? Or do you wear them until they fall off by themselves? Anyway, enough about fake lashes. We are talking about the real thing here.

Welcome

Hello and welcome to my brand new blog: MascaraPro.blogspot.com. I am so glad you decided to stop by for a few and hope you find something useful here. I am a creative/crafty person by nature and have always been fascinated with doing my own mascara to perfection. You will see what I mean.
